The Bangkok region of AWS Asia Pacific will have three Availability Zones. Over a 15year period, AWS expects to invest more than $5 billion 190 billion baht in Thailand. AWS has introduced 10 Amazon CloudFront edge locations in Bangkok since 2020. The next generation of IT leaders as well as local developers and students are receiving training funding from AWS. AWS intends to work on a skilling plan in conjunction with the Thai Ministry of Digital Economy and Society.
