The ARTC Rail Safety and Innovation Center currently has around 70 engineers, digital experts and technology leaders working on the ATMS technology platform. The ATM development will create up to 300 direct jobs and support a further 700 indirect jobs. ATMS currently operates on the ARTC line between Port Augusta and Whyalla, South Australia, and implementation plans are underway in Nulllabor between Tarkula and Kalgoorlie. Adelaide is a hub for the national rail network, but a leader in advanced manufacturing, digital infrastructure and technology.
