Among all deal types, venture finance had the most activity in July 2022 with 19 deals, representing an 86.4% share in the region. In second place were two mergers and acquisitions M&A, followed by a private equity transaction. These trades accounted for 9.1% and 4.6% of all AI trading activity for the month, respectively. Venture finance was a leading segment of the North American technology industry with an AI transaction value of $264.14 million. The top five AI technology deals accounted for 63.6% of the total value in July 2022.
