Tong Pow has raised $6.5 million for his startup Hologram Labs, just seven months after launching.NFT avatars have become a common sight on social media platforms, representing the identity and status of their owners. But these blockchainverified jpegs have limitations they are static and dont reflect changes in ones physical self. The companys AI model can supposedly emote any static avatars, but the startup has 100% of its power concentrated in NFTs. Linkin Parks Mike Shinoda has invested in Hologram, a Londonbased startup that helps NFT collections transform their characters into digital avatars. Other investors include Kalos, founder of Parallel NFT Quantstamps Richard Ma, and Naveen Jain of Yat Labs. CEO Patrick Pow sees an opportunity in China, where there are currently bans on NFT trading, but plans to raise funds from Chinese investors down the road. Read More..
