On the outskirts of Guatemala City, in Cayalá, a purposebuilt private city with a concentration on housing, dining, shopping, entertainment, and business, Tigo Guatemala, a member of the Millicom family of operators, has inaugurated what it calls Guatemalas first 5G network. The Millicomaffiliated operator Tigo Guatemala has launched what it calls the countrys first 5G network. The company intends to develop comparable centers in Miraflores and Oakland Mall, two further shopping districts in the capital.
