A global competition to reward the tech startup for the most innovative workplace has narrowed it down to four companies. About 150 tech startups entered the Society for Human Resource Management SHRM competition. Of that number, 60% were based in the U.S, and 40% were from other countries. The firm that won SHRMs Better Workplaces Challenge Cup competition is Vinco, an education technology firm based in Monterrey, Mexico. The platform connects employees with their specific educational needs, whether its learning English, completing a high school diploma, or advanced academic work. It employs coaches, people with training and psychological backgrounds, to help employees with their training. Vinco beat out three other U.S.based tech startups for the $50,000 prize. Read More..
